Tim: He has worked at the dinner Phillies for most of his life. He is 52 and has kids who have all moved out. His parents have owned the dinner for years and he hasn't worked anywhere else. His wife died of cancer, he misses her every day and is still living his life happily. He has also fought in war and likes to tell stories of it because he also fell in love with his wife when she was a nurse.
John: John is a soldier that came home from war to find his wife had an affair on him when he was over seas. He was devastated and never wants to fall in love or believe in it again. He likes to be alone and doesn't really enjoy the company of people since he drinks away feelings and words.
Lidia: Lidia is an American sweetheart from L.A. She wanted to get away from all the fame and glitz, but still wanted to live in the city. When she moved to New York she met a man who is to the left of her. They started to like each other and are now on a date.
